About Dutch Experts


Dutch Experts (Brattleboro, VT) combines classic 80s new wave and shoe gaze sensibility with a modern twist. Drawing on inspiration from the Cure, Cocteau Twins, and Kate Bush, singer-songwriter Hannah Hoffman’s commanding vocals and undulating synth are driven by chorus-laden bass lines, paying homage to an aesthetic gone by. Their first EP, recorded and mixed by Mikey Allred of Dark Art Audio (All Them Witches, Inter Arma, Barishi), is slated to be released in 2022.
